It sounds like a straightforward question, but thickness alone is not enough to determine an OEM price.

Several factors can significantly affect the manufacturing cost of a custom wetsuit.

Material

SBR, SCR, CR and other neoprene material options can have different costs and performance characteristics.

The same nominal thickness does not necessarily mean the same flexibility, feel or durability.

Thickness

A 2mm wetsuit and a 7mm wetsuit have different material requirements.

Seam Construction

Pattern Complexity

“Why are you five dollars more expensive?”

“Are both factories quoting exactly the same product?”
